Volunteers are needed for event staff, parking, balloon ground crews and more. All volunteers receive a FREE T-SHIRT!

Support JDRF: The Great Galena Balloon Race is being held to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Over 17 million Americans are affected by diabetes, that’s over 12,500 people in the Tri-State area, nearly half of which are children. Diabetes changes the lives of each of those affected and the lives of their families. The Diabetes diet, activity and general medical requirements, not to mention the daily routine of blood tests and insulin shots, changes the lives of those around them.

The good news is with the help from partners like you, JDRF is achieving its mission. Many improvements have been made, making everyday life easier for those with Diabetes.

We invite everyone to help us support JDRF by volunteering for the Great Galena Balloon Race.
